Sydney Greenstreet Shirt Worn in Conflict

Off-white cotton dress shirt with button-on collar, worn by Sydney Greenstreet as Dr. Mark Hamilton in the 1946 drama Conflict. An official Warner Brothers sewn-in wardrobe tag on the inside collar reads: "Date: 7/12/43, Prod. 606, Name: Sidney Greenstreet, Size 19/36." Some light soiling on the right sleeve and right breast area, otherwise in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Although the film "Conflict" was completed in 1943, Warner Bros. released it in 1945. Humphrey Bogart and Sydney Greenstreet play out a story of a man that murders his wife and is apparently haunted by her; but the odd happenings have been arranged by a suspicious psychiatrist.
