A terrific screen worn outfit from perhaps the biggest star of the mid-1930's, presented here is a blue satin 2-piece outfit--consisting of a jacket and riding pants--worn by the adorable Shirley Temple in her starring role as Elizabeth Blair in the 1935 film Curly Top. Created by renowned costume designer Rene Hubert, the outfit features an off-white ruffle pattern along the cuffs and neckline. A sewn-in wardrobe label from Western Costume Company on the inside of the jacket and pants reads, "Western Costume Company, Inc. - 22-661 - Shirley Temple." Some minor wear to the base of the pants and shoulder area of the jacket, otherwise in fine condition. This costume is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment.
