A long sleeved, plum colored dinner dress with pink striped satin trim at the cuffs and left breast, worn by Ethel Barrymore as Margaret Garrison in the 1952 classic Deadline U.S.A.. Designed by Elois Jenssen and Charles Lemaire, with a matching waist belt also accompanying the dress. In excellent condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
