Vivian Blaine Negligee Worn in Doll face 1946

An attractive peach colored negligee with feather trim, worn by Blaine in her starring role as "Doll Face" Carroll in the 1945 romantic musical Doll Face. In fine condition. A 20th Century Fox official studio wardrobe label is sewn into the inside seam of the neck. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: The 1945 musical "Doll Face" was another by Twentieth Century Fox. Vivian Blaine plays a burlesque queen that goes to Broadway. The film also stars Dennis O'Keefe, Carmen Miranda, Perry Como and Martha Stewart.
