John Sutton Period Cape Coat Worn in The Fan

A handsome blue period cape coat with drapings along the shoulder, worn by John Sutton in his role as Cecil Graham in the 1949 Otto Preminger film The Fan. Created by well known costume designer Rene Hubert, this jacket stands in overall excellent condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Based on the play "Lady Windermere's Fan", this 1949 Fox production of "The Fan" is a tale of scandal almost resulting when Lady Windemere loses her fan. The A list cast includes Madeleine Carroll, Richard Greene, John Sutton, George Sanders and Jeanne Crain.
