Victor Mature Suit - Footlight Serenade 1942

A 3-piece grey checked wool suit--consisting of pants, jacket, and vest--worn by Victor Mature in his co-starring role as Tommy Lundy in the 1942 musical Footlight Serenade. Made by Watson & Sons of Beverly Hills, all three pieces to this suit feature official 20th Century Fox sewn-in wardrobe labels that read, "20th Century Fox Inc, Job: A 351, Date: 3-5-42, Name: V. Mature, Inv: 3-69-1-0972." In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
