A choice piece from the film career of one of Hollywood's most legendary sex symbols, presented here is a navy blue wool wide-brimmed hat worn by Jayne Mansfield in her starring role as the Jerri Jordan in the 1956 comedy The Girl Can't Help It. Created by Charles LeMaire, the hat features an official 20th Century Fox sewn-in wardrobe label on the inside lining that reads: "Jayne Mansfield, 20th Century Fox, A-783-19." In excellent condition. This costume piece is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
