Mitzi Gaynor Costume - Golden Girl (1951)

A colorful white, pink, and blue dancing costume, prominently worn by Gaynor in her starring role as Lotta Crabtree in the 1951 musical Golden Girl. Dress features gold braid on bodice and with pink and blue lace accents along the shoulders. Includes dress, gloves, and matching dancing shorts. Both dress and shorts feature an official 20th Century Fox Wardrobe label that reads: "4101 Mitzi Gaynor, A638-55." In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
