From what is perhaps the most beloved epic story ever brought to the silver screen, presented here is a set of two (2) vintage French arm chairs used in the making of the 1939 classic Gone With The Wind. Beautifully creafted, this matching set features an elaborately carved gilt frame with floral design along with an attractive pale floral upholstery to the seat cushion and arm rests. Some moderate chipping to the gold finish of the frame, otherwise in fine condition. Along with being featured in Gone With The Wind, these chairs have also appeared in numerous MGM classics, including Camille, GiGi, and an assortment Fred Astaire musicals. This lot is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment.
