Vintage Store Cabinet from Gone With The Wind

A highly desirable piece of motion picture history, presented here is an original vintage hardware store wooden parts cabinet, used prominently in the 1939 classic Gone With The Wind. Designed to fit the film's mid-19th century Civil War southern setting, this cabinet features an 80-drawer octagon shaped shaped parts cupboard. Each drawer features a carved pattern with the length and width of the part (presumably screws) that would have been kept in each drawer. Beneath the octagon cabinet sits a square base which features additional cabinets for slightly larger parts. The dimensions of this two section display are as follows: Upper Section - 46 inches in height and 29 inches width; Lower Section - 16 inches in height and 30 inches in width. Meticulously cared for since it's usage in the film, this cabinet stands in excellent condition. This lot is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment.
