Impressive full length red dress worn Joan Blondell in her ongoing role as Lottie Hatfield in the late 60's television series Here Comes The Brides. An elegant and elaborate dress featuring floral patterned linen trim along the cuffs and linen and black lace trailing from the neckline to the hemline. In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Series: From 1968 to 1970, "Here Come the Brides" was a great television entertainment. To avoid losing their logging crew, the Bolt brothers bring 100 prospective brides from Massachusetts to Seattle, using money borrowed from sawmill owner Stempel. Should one of the girls decide to go home, or should they fail to meet Stempel's timber quotas, they will still lose their mountain to him.
