Elegant beige low-cut dress, worn by Loretta Young herself during an appearance of The Loretta Young Show. An attractive dress, with an eye catching gold sequin pattern along the neckline and waist. Designed by William Pearson and in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Loretta Young retired from films in 1953 and began a second, equally successful career. "The Loretta Young Show," a half-hour drama anthology series which ran on NBC-TV from September 1953 to September 1961, and which in its first season was called "A Letter to Loretta," featured Miss Young as hostess and frequently as lead actress. Although she is most remembered for her stunning gowns and swirling entrances, over the broadcast's eight-year run Miss Young also showed again that she could act.
