2-piece blue serge suit--consisting of pants and a jacket--worn by Tyrone Power in his starring role as Stephen Fitzgerald in the 1948 comedy The Luck of the Irish. In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: In "Luck of the Irish", a New York newsman's love life is complicated by a helpful leprechaun he meets in Ireland. This 1948 Twentieth Century Fox production stars Tyrone Power, Cecil Kellaway and Ann Baxter. Cecil was nominated for an Academy Award for his outstanding performance in this film.
