An attractive pink and beige lace formal gown, worn by Powell in her starring role as Polly Bradford in the 1948 comedy musical Luxury Liner. Designed by Helen Rose, this beautiful gown features a pink floral pattern along the beige lace, pink fabric wrapping at the waist, and a pink bowtie at the right hip. In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: The musical "Luxury Liner" is a pleasant film with good talent. The MGM, 1948 production was about a captain of a liner that has trouble with his teenage daughter. Jane Powell, Marina Koshetz and George Brent star in this featured film.
