Wide brimmed natural straw hat with black velvet ribbon trim, worn by Jeanne Crain in her starring role as Kitty Bennett in the 1951 comedy The Model & The Marriage Broker. Designed by Charles LeMaire, this hat features a sewn-in official 20th Century Fox wardrobe label on the inside brim. In excellent condition. This costume piece is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Another wonderful Jeanne Crain performance is displayed in "The Model and the Marriage Broker" in 1951. A broker conceals her profession from a friend but gets the friend fixed up. The flick also features Thelma Ritter, Scott Brady, Zero Mostel and Michael O'Shea.
