From his starring role as British Agent Robert Crain, presented in this lot is a grey Harringbone sports jacket worn by Marlon Brando in the 1965 WWII war drama Morituri. Created by designer Moss Mabry, this jacket stands in overall very fine condition. This costume piece is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Marlon Brando, Yul Brynner, Trevor Howard and Janet Margolin are first billed in the outstanding cast of "Saboteur, Code Name Morituri". The suspenseful melodrama is a 1965 Fox World War II espionage adventure. The story is set in 1942, a German pacifist working for the allies is actually a German spy.
