
Greer Garson Outfit - Mrs. Parkington 1944
Description
A green wool double breasted coat and gray wool skirt, worn by Garson in her starring role as Susue "Sparrow" Parkington in the 1944 MGM film Mrs. Parkington. Well preserved and in fine condition, the coat features a wide collar and a braided gray trim on the collar and cuffs. The pants, also in fine condition, feature a self belt design with a zip-up and button front. Originally featured in Butterfield & Butterfield catalog #4025, both garments have retained their Butterfield tagging. This costume is from the famed collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
