A checked wool suit--consisting of a woman's formal top and skirt--worn by Miriam Hopkins in her role as The Duchess in the 1952 film The Outcasts of Poker Flats. Designed by Dorothy Jeakins, this outfit features lace netting along the shoulders and pink trim along the shirt. A handwritten wardrobe label on the inside lining of the shirt and skirt reads: "1-10-1-3010 M. Hopkins, A-660-07." In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: The 1952 remake of the "Outcasts of Poker Flat" was a Fox production starring Dale Robertson, Anne Baxter, Cameron Mitchell and Miriam Hopkins.
