Shirley Temple Pants - Poor Little Rich Girl

One pair of white satin minstrel pants with black trim, prominently worn by a young Shirley Temple in her childhood role as Barbara Barry in the 1936 musical Poor Little Rich Girl. Created by costume designer Gwen Wakeling, these pants feature a sewn-in wardrobe label that reads, "United Costumers Inc, Manufacturers, Shirley Temple, W. 11.5, L. 20." In addition, two framed 8 x 10 black and white photos of Temple wearing the pants are also included. This costume is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment.
About The Film: The darling Shirley Temple is Barbara in the 1936 film "Poor Little Rich Girl". Cosseted and bored, Barbara Barry is finally sent off to school by her busy if doting widowed soap manufacturer father. When her nurse is injured en route, Barbara finds herself alone in town, ending up as part of radio song-and-dance act Dolan and Dolan sponsored by a rival soap company.
