Gothic Sideboard Used in Prince Valiant 1954

A vintage gothic-style wooden sideboard, previously owned by 20th Century Fox studios and used in numerous period films, most notably the 1954 medeival themed Prince Valiant. This elaborate piece features four carved metal panel doors featuring scenes of daily medeival life along with ornate carved drawers above each door. Four ornate lion's head carvings were once present in between each drawer, however, only one lion remains. Ends feature attractively carved pillars and large bun feet for which the piece sits. Restoration of the missing lion's head carvings are needed, otherwise this piece stands in overall very good condition. Approximate dimensions are as follows: 37 inches in height, 85 inches in width, and 25 inches in depth. This lot is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment.
