Debra Paget Dress - Prince Valiant (1954)

A beautiful and elaborate period dress, worn by Debra Paget as Ilene in the 1954 action-adventure Prince Valient. Carefully custom designed to replicate the dress of the Medeival period, this dress consists of a royal purple velvet design with pink lace and jeweled accents along the sleeves and a draping purple shawl across the chest. Some minor easily repairable tearing to the fragile purple lace shawl, otherwise fine. Sewn-in wardrobe tag along the inner zipper lining reads: "1-25-1-4436, A-711-45, Debra Paget." This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: The son of the exiled king of Scandia seeks King Arthur's help against the usurper and becomes involved in the court plot in "Prince Valiant".
