Description
A beautiful beige linen floral patterned period dress, prominently worn in the Douglad Fairbanks finale The Private Lives of Don Juan. Designed by Oliver Messel, the dress features a bronze mesh design along the neckline and cuffs that is accented by bronze spring tassels which drape from the pattern. Some minor tearing to the fabric along the base of the dress, otherwise in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
