George Sanders Outfit Worn - Son of Fury 1942

Rust wool cutaway coat and gold brocade vest with matching pair of pants, worn by George Sanders in his role as Sir Arthur Blake in the 1942 film Son of Fury. Created by costume designer Gwen Wakeling, the vest features a Western Costume Company sewn-in wardrobe label that reads, "32-649 George Sanders." In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Tyrone Power and Gene Tierney star in the 1942 drama "Son of Fury". An 18th century Englishman is deprived of his inheritance. He then flees to a South Sea island but comes back seeking restitution.
