Brown and beige period dress with velvet cust trim on the bodice and skirt hem, worn by Ruth Hussey as Jenny Sousa in the patriotic 1952 film Stars And Stripes Forever. Designed by Orry-Kelly, this 2-piece design features a jacket and skirt combination and is in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: "Stars and Stripes Forever", a film biography of the composer John Philip Sousa, from his early days in the Marine Corps Band through the Spanish-American War in 1898. This musical biopic stars Clifton Webb, Debra Paget, Robert Wagner and Ruth Hussey released in 1952 by Twentieth Century Fox.
