Extra Costume - The Trouble With Girls Elvis

An exquisite 1920's style evening dress and cape, worn by an extra during the making of the 1969 MGM film The Trouble With Girls, starring Elvis Presley. The dress consists of a black velvet bodice with a skirt of black chiffon over gold lame' with black velvet and jeweled sequins crossing over the gold pattern. Cape is equally attractive, with a ruffled tulle and silver sequins "dripping" off the shoulders and across. An impressive costume, in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: In 1969, Elvis Presley brought his charisma to the MGM comedy "The Trouble With Girls". Staged in the 20's, the manager of a traveling educational medicine show gets involved in a small town murder.
