A prominent outfit from the feature role of the film, offered here is a green wool gabardine period outfit, worn by Grayson as Abigail Chandler in the 1946 MGM film Two Sisters from Boston. Outfit consists of a jacket, long skirt, white dickey jabot and a black organdy petticoat. In superb condition, with virtually no signs of wear. A wardrobe sewn tag on the inside of the collar reads "Kathryn Grayson." This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: Abigail Chandler has written her stuffy Boston relatives that she's a successful opera singer in New York. In reality, she works at a burlesque house and is billed as High-C Susie. When her sister Martha comes for a visit, Abigail tries to hide the truth from her. Abigail is played by the beautiful Kathryn Grayson in the 1946 musical comedy "Two Sisters from Boston".
