Beige turtleneck sweater tie-up dickey, worn by Harrison as Sir Alfred De Carter in the 1948 comedy Unfaitfully Yours. A minor tear hole along the lower left side, otherwise in fine condition. Originally Acquired from Butterfield & Butterfield Auction #425 and accompanied by the original Butterfield tag. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: This 1948 Fox musical comedy stars Rex Harrison as Sir Alfred de Carter, who suspects his wife of infidelity. While conducting a symphony orchestra, he imagines three different ways of dealing with the situation. When the concert ends, he tries acting out his fantasies, but things do not go as well in reality as they did in his imagination. An entertaining film with notable music.
