A handsome 2-piece blue suit--consisting of a jacket and pants--worn by Muni in his starring role as Dr. David Newcombe in the 1939 crime drama We Are Not Alone. In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: We Are Not Alone is a well-acted 1939 Warner Bros. drama starring Paul Muni. A man having an innocent affair is accused of murdering his wife. The film's title comes from the line when the Doctor tells Leni, "We are not alone in suffering injustice."
