Agnes Moorehead Costume - Whats With Helen?

Impressive silk religious vestment--consisting of cream satin crepe volumous, floor length tunic and floor length cape--worn by Moorehead as Sister Alma in the 1971 television movie Whats the Matter With Helen?. Designed by Morton Haack, the outfit features a gold beaded cross applique on the front breast and gold cord tassels to drape over the neckline. In fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: The magnificent Debbie Reynolds and Shelly Winters captivate the audience in "What's the Matter with Helen?". The film debuted in 1971, but was set in 1934 Hollywood. Two women whose sons are both convicted murderers move to Hollywood and open up a dance studio. One of the sisters, Helen, falls under the spell of a strange evangelist, and begins to go slowly insane.
