Susan Hayward Outfit - White Witch Doctor '53

An off-white, 2-piece lady's period doctors outfit--consisting of a skirt and jacket--worn by Hayward in her starring role as Ellen Burton in the 1953 adventure White Witch Doctor. In excellent condition, a costumer tag on the inside of the skirt reads "1-69-6-1186 - Susan Hayward - A-682-04." This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: "White Witch Doctor" is a 1953 movie about Ellen Burton, who arrives in Africa to join Dr. Mary as her nurse, bringing modern medicine to the native peoples. Lonni Douglas, an animal wrangler and fortune hunter, agrees to take her upriver, despite his misgivings about her suitability for Africa. They battle escaped gorillas, hostile natives, infected lion wounds, and hostile witch doctors to reach their destination and on the way, they fall in love. The beautiful Ellen is played wonderfully by Susan Hayward.
