Navy blue dress with white inset and blue polka dots down the front, worn by Maureen O'Hara in her role as Min Wead in the 1957 drama The Wings of Eagles. Created by legendary designer Walter Plunkett, the dress has been well preserved and is in excellent condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: A biography of Frank W. "Spig" Wead, who is played by the notorious John Wayne. Dan Dailey and Maureen O'Hara also star in the 1957 "Wings of Eagles". A navy flyer breaks his neck in an accident and on recovery becomes a Hollywood writer.
