This is a FIVE PIECE PORCELAIN SET that was made in OCCUPIED JAPAN. This set is a COTTAGE STYLE PORCELAIN SET and the pieces include: A TEA PITCHER WITH A LID, A CREAMER and A SUGAR WITH A LID. Thus, the 5 piece set. The COTTAGE DESIGN is simply lovely. The Tea Pitcher is large and is a wonderful Cottage. The roof of the cottage is the lid. On the bottom of this piece it is marked OCCUPIED JAPAN, thus this set is from the late 1940's. On the underside of the tea spout there is some roughness. I will call small chips, but it really is roughness on the underside of the spout. The TEA PITCHER is 9 inches long from spout to handle. The PITCHER is 6 1/2 inches in height - so you can get an idea of the size of the set. The Mark on the underside says OCCUPIED JAPAN and then there is a "T" inside of a Circle. All three main pieces are marked. The second piece is a Creamer with a nice handle. It is marked the same. The other piece is a Sugar holder with a lid. Again, it is marked. The Porcelain is in great shape, except for the roughness on the bottom of the spout.

The set is well preserved, except for some roughness on the underside of the tea spout.
