A striking gold colored metal lapel pin (1"x.75") depicting two turtles flying in 'reproductive' mode. Includes the Official 'Outershell Division' two part red white black Membership card that includes the 1)'Turtle Creed' (Turtles are bright eyed, bushy tailed, fearless and unafraid with a fighter pilot attitude. They think clean, have fun a lot, and recognize the fact that you never get any place worthwhile in life unless you stick your neck out...), 2) the secret password, and 3) the four riddles you must answer correctly to become member. The card is hand-signed by Club founders, astronaut Wally Schirra and Gerry Morton. This is the first time we have seen this particular version of the Club pin. There were obviously different pins for different 'Division' members. Ex-Donald 'Deke' Slayton Estate Collection.
