Rare and Important American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Étagère, attributed to John and Joseph Meeks, New York, third quarter 19th century, the base with carved floral legs and pierced aprons, having a medial shelf between the front and back legs, the upper portion with a domed, central section flanked by open shelves supported by turned spindles and pierce-carved aprons, the center crest having large carved flowers and flanked by two pierce-carved end crests, h. 106", w. 58", d. 22".
