Fabulous Rare Transitional period Chongzheng (1628-1643) and of the period large covered Jar. The covered vase is colorfully painted to the baluster body in tones of red, green, aubergine, yellow and underglaze blue depicting a delightful garden scene with ladies watching boys at play, The dome-shaped cover is similarly decorated with dancing boys and topped by a bud-shaped finial; measures (29cm) 11.5'' tall.
