Etching and drypoint, 1632. 150x131 mm; 6x5 1/4 inches, thread margins. Biörklund's second state (of 4); Usticke's first state (of 3); White and Boon's second state (of 3). Basel crozier watermark (Ash/Fletcher 11 A a). Ex-collection A. C. Poggi (Lugt 617, verso). Expertly-repaired short v-shaped break in the sheet, just above the hand, visible only on the verso. A brilliant, early impression of this scarce print, with no wear in the hat and face and with all the fine lines in the beard printing clearly.
