Mid 20th Century extremely rare Heinke-Siebe Gorman diving helmet made for the British Royal Navy. Helmet was made for the Mine recovery unit in the mid 1950s. Heinke was taken over by Siebe Gorman in the 1950s. Only six are known to exist. Helmet has large air scrubber tank attached to the rear and four viewing windows. The main viewing port is hinged with two dog-bolts. Hoisting ring on top. 20" H x 18 1/2"D x 15"W. A box with spare parts is included. Condition: very good.
