VERY FINE ITALIAN MICROMOSAIC TABLE TOP
Second Quarter 19th Century. Of circular form, centered by a rectangular panel attributed to Aguatti, depicting hounds attacking a boar, surrounded by trophies, bucrania, and rosettes joined with ribbon on a blue ground, surrounded by griffins, urns and rinceaux on a white ground. Diameter 31 inches. Together with a Neoclassical style gilt-bronze base. Height 28 1/2 inches.
