Wurlitzer Model 850 Jukebox – 1941. Also called “The Peacock”, this is a larger sized floor model Jukebox, has an arched top with beautiful chromed filigree mounts around the amber corner plastics and red at the crest; this model features a brilliant peacock, reverse painted on glass with a polarized film layer behind and backed with a clear glass panel, behind the peacock is a pair of rotating Polarized acetate disks, which bend the light in such a way to give the peacock a “prism” effect. On either side of the peacock is a chromed, scrolling cornucopia with flowering plastics at the ends and bubbler tubes. Signed on a metal tag on the back with model number 850 and serial number 789763. Good working condition. 68 in. high x 38 in. wide x 26 in. deep.
