Condition/Details: This theological volume is the author's case for the inaccuracies in the translation of the King James Bible, and a request for a new English translation "more faithfully representing the Original." The unnamed author, "a Licentiate of the Church f Scotland," uses original Greek and Hebrew versions of the Bible to propose more literal and literary translations. The volume has been professionally re-bound with gilt lettering to the spine; the text is solidly bound and quite clean, with usual library attributes.
