Condition/Details: This large volume is a First Edition of this work, containing several important documents in the early development of New Netherland, or New York City. This is copy is one of a Limited Edition of 250 copies. The documents are printed here in facsimile, and accompanied on the facing page by the printed Dutch and an English translation. These documents are fro the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery, located in San Marino, Calif. The book measures approximately 14" by 9.5", and is bound in tan cloth; the work shows some minor wear, and is solidly bound with some library markings.
