Condition/Details: This antique work is the first volume of the Contributions to American Geology series. This is a detailed description of the geology of the Sierra Nevada, and is illustrated with several excellent plate illustrations and diagrams. The rear of the text also includes a cloth pocket, housing three large folding maps in color. The work has been professionally re-bound in green cloth, shows minimal wear, and is solidly bound with some library markings.
