Condition/Details: This lovely set includes eleven individual works, including diaries, letters, and journals, detailing the westward expansion of the United States in the mid-nineteenth century. The volumes are bound in matching green cloth with gilt spine lettering and deckle-edge pages, and include several plate illustrations. This group includes vols. 2-11 and 14. The books are in excellent condition with little to no external wear; the bindings are tight and the pages are crisp and clean, with usual library attributes.
