Condition/Details: This antique set is a scarce account of travels in the South Pacific, including visits to New Zealand, Tubuai (Austral Islands), Tahiti, Eimeo (Moorea), Huahine, Borabora, and many others. The works are illustrated with several engravings and a fold-out map of Polynesia. Both volumes have been professionally re-bound and retain their original leather spine labels. The books show some light wear and are solidly bound with clean pages and some library markings.
