This auction lot includes the following title: Title: History of Nepal Condition/Details: This rare work is an early history of "the portion of the country of Nepal which is open to Europeans." The text was translated form the Parbatiya, and includes an introductory sketch of the people of Nepal by Daniel Wright, the editor. The work is illustrated with sixteen beautiful plates of buildings, scenes, and people of Nepal, most of which are in color and several of which fold out. Please refer to the photos for a sampling of these plates. The volume is bound in green cloth with gilt spine lettering, and shows mild external wear. The binding is sturdy and the pages are clean with library markings and some age toning. The book measures approximately 11" by 7.5". This is a great buy, don't miss out!
