Provenance: Vose Galleries, Boston; private Dallas collector (acquired from the afore-mentioned.) Lilla Cabot Perry (American 1848-1933) was a Massachusetts artist who painted in the Impressionist taste. From 1898-1901, Perry and her husband traveled to Japan where she completed about eighty paintings depicting the native peoples and landscapes. Circa - 1898-1901.
