This impressive gold pendant doubles as a stick-pin brooch. The bezel is ornate and features eight small garnet-colored stones, although we are not sure what they are. The bezel is clearly marked 14K and weighs 12.5 grams. The coin is a 1915 Austrian 4 ducat, which was minted from 14 grams of 0.9860 pure gold, for a net pure gold weight of 0.4438 troy ounces. Overall, the pendant is a massive 3.125 inches in diameter at the widest point. The obverse of the coin shows scuff marks from obvious use as jewelry. An unusual piece that we have not seen before. Total weight of the piece is 26.5 grams.
