East Tennessee miniature buttocks basket, Sullivan or Washington County, Tennessee. Split oak basket with two lobes, handle secured to rim on both sides with nails. Nails appear to date to late 19th century. Exceptional proportions and construction. Condition - excellent, no breaks or damage. Dimensions 6" height, 6" width. Late 19th century.
