East Tennessee or Southwest Virginia windsor chair, provenance Virginia Caldwell estate of the Deery Inn, Blountville, TN. Turnings of spindles simulate bamboo. This windsor is pictured in the parlor of the Deery Inn of Blountville, TN in a 1976 Tennessee Historical Society issue. 33 1/2" height x 16" depth x 18.5" width. Early 19th century.
