Folk art carving of alligator by Miles Beam (1906-1986), China Grove, NC. This carving was found with an entire box of carvings from the artist's estate and were featured on a segment of PBS Antiques Roadshow in Charlotte, North Carolina. The carving consists of carved legs, nails for teeth, and red inserts for eyes. Condition - excellent. Length of alligator, 16 3/8". Circa 1930s.
